Boumediene Nedjar is a Professor at the department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Sciences and Technologies, at the University of Evry Paris-Saclay. He obtained his PhD degree in Civil Engineering from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, France, in 1995, and his Habilitation in Mechanics from Université Paris-Est, France, in 2008.
He is head of "MDS" team at the LMEE lab. His research interests focus on solid mechanics, structural mechanics, and computational mechanics. Among his research areas in civil engineering: 3D concrete printing, early-age concrete, internal swelling reactions, anisotropic gradient damage mechanics, finite strain poromechanics, soft shell structures in large deformations.
