Prof Inka Mueller
Inka Mueller works as a Professor for Applied Mechanics at the Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering Department at Bochum University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
She received her Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Siegen, Germany, in 2016. After an intermediate step as a Junior Professor for structural health monitoring with Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, she was appointed as a Professor for applied mechanics in 2019.
Her research is focused on wave-based and vibration-based SHM systems with a special focus on reliability issues like assessing probabilities of detection, sensor and system reliability.
